last night we lost a wonderful Lady....my Aunt Barb received her angel wings, I know she is happy to be back in the arms of Uncle Paul.......and celebrating with all our angels who left to soon. Give my sweet precious Mia Ann a big hug Aunt Barbara, I know you will watch over her until I make it there, I love you and will miss you so very much, I hope they have wind chimes in Heaven and when they chime you will know we are thinking of you hear on earth.

Thinking a lot about my Aunt Barbara today, it's hard to believe she has gone and I know I'm being selfish crying and wanting her back. I was talking to her as I walked down to my mailbox a few minutes ago and was so surprised to see a Christmas Card from her.
It was stamped in Bethlehem and was stamped on the day she passed away. I know it's a sign from her to let me know that she is okay and not to worry. I can't open the card yet.......

"Prayers For The Innocent"

By Shari Soklow

He led them off to Heaven
Where they could laugh and play
Took them far from tragedy
That happened on this day!

With love and deep compassion
He heard their parents wishes
Then He kissed each Angel brow
With a hundred angel kisses.

They did not know, were not aware
of life's most hurtful aches,
They only knew that He is near
and prayer is all it takes...

The world in shock, the world did pray
For loved ones hurt beyond repair
For when a tragedy happens
We are One Big Family Everywhere!

With deepest love and gentleness He rests their precious souls
Now entering their new lives with Him they will grow old
Even in the fearfulness one prayer cried out with care
Was all it ever took and in that instant He was there

This is Victoria. She died a hero today. She hid her first graders in the cabinets and closets after hearing the gunfire. When the shooter came to her classroom, she told him that her students were in the gym. He then gunned her down and moved on. She saved the lives of all of her students. Please pass this on if you see it. She deserves to be remembered for her bravery.

Dalton has 37,031 cards so far and all of them haven't even been counted yet!!! It's so amazing and I feel so blessed that so many people care. Thank you everyone. But let's keep spreading this so no one will touch his record!!!! :)

MAGOFFIN COUNTY, KY (WLEX) - A Magoffin County boy is breaking records while fighting for his life. Dalton Dingus is fighting cystic fibrosis, a lung disease, and the 9-year-old has also been trying to set a new Guinness World Record for receiving the most Christmas cards. He passed the record of 35,000 cards yesterday, but he wants to make the record untouchable.
"He wants to open all the boxes," says his mom, Jessica Dingus. "He wants to know how many cards he's got. He gets really excited."
Too many to fit in the house, piles of Christmas cards addressed to Dalton fill boxes on their front porch. Jessica reads the thousands and thousands of cards to her son. Dalton's favorite is a gingerbread man that dances and sings.
The drive started as a post on Facebook. Dalton was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis when he was four and a half years old. A post on facebook said he wanted Christmas cards for Christmas this year. From there, it became a movement that is inspiring people around the world, from his home in Magoffin County, to as far as Australia and Guatemala. People everywhere are sending Dalton Christmas cards, something he and is family are so thankful for.
On Monday, Dalton received 6,000 cards in one day which took him to a little more than 37,000 cards and counting. More than enough to break the current record of 35,000.
"It's just amazing the outpouring of support everyone has shown. It really means a lot to him. It gives him something to look forward to every morning. He wants to know if the mail is here," says Jessica Dingus.
Dalton's Christmas cards earning him a place in the record books, but it's his courage and strength that is touching people the world over.
"He has inspired them to have a goal of their own. He's nine years old and he's sick, yet he still has a goal...and he's done it," says Jessica.
If you would like to help Dalton continue surpassing the record, you can mail a card to:

Beautiful Just The Way You Are

A while back, at the entrance of a gym, there was a picture of a very thin and beautiful woman. The caption was "This summer, do you want to be a mermaid or a whale?"

The story goes, a woman (of clothing size unknown) answered the following way:

"Dear people, whales are always surrounded by friends (dolphins, seals, curious humans), they are sexually active and raise their children with great tenderness

They entertain like crazy with dolphins and eat lots of prawns. They swim all day and travel to fantastic places like Patagonia, the Barents Sea or the coral reefs of Polynesia.
They sing incredibly well and sometimes even are on CD's. They are impressive and dearly loved animals, which everyone defend and admires.

Mermaids do not exist.

But if they existed, they would line up to see a psychologist because of a problem of split personality: woman or fish?
They would have no sex life and could not bear children.
Yes, they would be lovely, but lonely and sad.
And, who wants a girl that smells like fish by his side?

Without a doubt, I'd rather be a whale.

At a time when the media tells us that only thin is beautiful, I prefer to eat ice cream with my kids, to have dinner with my husband, to eat and drink and have fun with my friends.

We women, we gain weight because we accumulate so much wisdom and knowledge that there isn't enough space in our heads, and it spreads all over our bodies.
We are not fat, we are greatly cultivated.
Every time I see my curves in the mirror, I tell myself: "How amazing am I!

R.I.P. Robin Gibb! A Talented singer from a great family of musicians "The Bee Gees"!

The legendary musician passed away on Sunday.

Gibb’s family issued a formal statement that reads, “The family of Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees announce with great sadness that Robin passed away today following his long battle with cancer and intestinal surgery.”

Gibb, who had suffered from colon and liver cancer, was best known as a member of the Bee Gees, which he performed in with his twin brother Maurice and older brother Barry.

The band’s hits included “Stayin’ Alive,” “How Deep Is Your Love,” and “Night Fever.”

Last month, the singer had fallen into a near death coma, and miraculously awoke from it a week later.

Gibb was 62.

Mitchell and Glenn Guist
Mitchell Guist

I was sadden to learn today that on May 14, 2012: a member of the Swamp People family, Mitchell Guist, passed away at age 47. Mitchell passed on the swamp, doing what he loved. I loved watching Mitchell and Glenn on Swamp people and will miss seeing him on the show,
Swampers through and through, Glenn and Mitchell Guist were born and raised on the bayou and lived entirely off the land. These brothers were always up to something, whether it was hunting for their dinner or making use of everything nature has to offer. Love, Hugs, and Prayers to the Guist family.

 HELLO WORLD

Traffic crawls, cell phone calls Top video screams at me through my tinted windows I see A little girl, rust red minivan She's got chocolate on her face, got little hands
And she waves at me, yeah, she smiles at me
Well, hello world, how you been? Good to see you, my old friend Sometimes I feel cold as steel Broken like I'm never gonna heal
I see a light, a little hole, and a little girl Well, hello world
Every day I drive by a little white church It's got these little white crosses like angels in the yard Maybe I should stop on in and say a prayer Maybe talk to God like he is there
Oh, I know He's there, yeah, I know He's there
Well, hello world, how you been? Good to see you, my old friend Sometimes I feel as cold as steel And broken like I'm never gonna heal
I see a light, a little grace, a little faith unfurl Well, hello world
Sometimes I forget what living's for and I hear my life through my front door And I'll be there, oh, I'm home again I see my wife, little boy, little girl Hello world, hello world
All the empty disappears, I remember why I'm here Just surrender and believe, I fall down on my knees Oh, hello world, hello world Hello world

Movie Night

I picked out a movie from the library the other day call Courageous.  I saw the front cover had something to do with policemen......a movie my husband would be interested in.  I didn't really read what the movie was about and was truly amazed when we started watching it and what it was really about.  We watched the entire movie and I can tell you it really touched me and, some things in this movie really hit home.  I would recommend this movie to anyone, especially those who need a boost in their faith.  Courageous made me smile, cry and laugh so hard I cried.  I hadn't seen this movie advertised, but I think it's worth mentioning and give it a thumbs up.
Courageous is about a group of men who despite their share of problems desire to become better husbands and fathers. Adam Mitchell is a cop who has a good relationship with his wife and does well with his work, but doesn't have the best relationship with his children. Another police officer has a teenage daughter whom he worries will be dating the wrong guy and doesn't know yet how to handle the situation. Javier and his wife are struggling financially to provide for their family due to recent loss of employment, but Javier has faith God will provide for their family. And a rookie member of the force has his own emotional baggage caused by a mistake he made prior to becoming saved. Together these men and others strive to make amends for their mistakes, develop a stronger relationship with the Lord, and to simply just become better husbands/fathers in the process.

Angel Graphics Sherry Blevins

I will be posting special Angel moms on my blog from time to time and Angel Sherry is very dear to my heart.  Sherry creates a lot of beautiful photos for those of us who have Angels in Heaven including her own special Angel her son James.

The photos Sherry creates are like Christmas presents....I can't wait to open them to find out what Beautiful photos await for me.  I don't know if I have told Sherry this.....she has really helped me this past year with the photos she has made of Mia Ann.  I love the new pictures that she makes, we as parents lose out on so many things after our children are gone.....but with Earth Angels like Sherry she helps keep one thing going and that is New Photos of our Precious children....what a gift.
Sherry I love you and I will never be able to thank you enough for all the love and care you give to me and other parents by creating Beautiful pictures of our children and loved ones. I wish we didn't have to belong to the same club so to speak "Parents whose children are in Heaven"  but I am so very thankful God brought us together....I have found a friend I will have for life.....I love you my beautiful Angel friend......

Mother's Day is coming up and this is one of the hardest times of the year for me.  My precious daughter Mia has been gone for 13 yrs, she was 13 when she was taken away from us.  Mia always made Mother's Day so very special, she would always wake me up with breakfast in bed and give me a Mother's Day card she made herself and we would snuggle in bed and watch a movie.....how I love those days.  I have a very special Angel Mom "Sherry" who makes Beautiful photos for a lot of us Angel Parents.  I love the photos she creates of our precious Angels and they put a smile on my face every time I receive one.

From Angel Sherry my Sweet Angel Friend.... I Love you
