last night we lost a wonderful Lady....my Aunt Barb received her angel wings, I know she is happy to be back in the arms of Uncle Paul.......and celebrating with all our angels who left to soon. Give my sweet precious Mia Ann a big hug Aunt Barbara, I know you will watch over her until I make it there, I love you and will miss you so very much, I hope they have wind chimes in Heaven and when they chime you will know we are thinking of you hear on earth.

Thinking a lot about my Aunt Barbara today, it's hard to believe she has gone and I know I'm being selfish crying and wanting her back. I was talking to her as I walked down to my mailbox a few minutes ago and was so surprised to see a Christmas Card from her.
It was stamped in Bethlehem and was stamped on the day she passed away. I know it's a sign from her to let me know that she is okay and not to worry. I can't open the card yet.......

"Prayers For The Innocent"

By Shari Soklow

He led them off to Heaven
Where they could laugh and play
Took them far from tragedy
That happened on this day!

With love and deep compassion
He heard their parents wishes
Then He kissed each Angel brow
With a hundred angel kisses.

They did not know, were not aware
of life's most hurtful aches,
They only knew that He is near
and prayer is all it takes...

The world in shock, the world did pray
For loved ones hurt beyond repair
For when a tragedy happens
We are One Big Family Everywhere!

With deepest love and gentleness He rests their precious souls
Now entering their new lives with Him they will grow old
Even in the fearfulness one prayer cried out with care
Was all it ever took and in that instant He was there

REST IN PEACE PRECIOUS CHILDREN

This is Victoria. She died a hero today. She hid her first graders in the cabinets and closets after hearing the gunfire. When the shooter came to her classroom, she told him that her students were in the gym. He then gunned her down and moved on. She saved the lives of all of her students. Please pass this on if you see it. She deserves to be remembered for her bravery.

Dalton has 37,031 cards so far and all of them haven't even been counted yet!!! It's so amazing and I feel so blessed that so many people care. Thank you everyone. But let's keep spreading this so no one will touch his record!!!! :)

MAGOFFIN COUNTY, KY (WLEX) - A Magoffin County boy is breaking records while fighting for his life. Dalton Dingus is fighting cystic fibrosis, a lung disease, and the 9-year-old has also been trying to set a new Guinness World Record for receiving the most Christmas cards. He passed the record of 35,000 cards yesterday, but he wants to make the record untouchable.
"He wants to open all the boxes," says his mom, Jessica Dingus. "He wants to know how many cards he's got. He gets really excited."
Too many to fit in the house, piles of Christmas cards addressed to Dalton fill boxes on their front porch. Jessica reads the thousands and thousands of cards to her son. Dalton's favorite is a gingerbread man that dances and sings.
The drive started as a post on Facebook. Dalton was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis when he was four and a half years old. A post on facebook said he wanted Christmas cards for Christmas this year. From there, it became a movement that is inspiring people around the world, from his home in Magoffin County, to as far as Australia and Guatemala. People everywhere are sending Dalton Christmas cards, something he and is family are so thankful for.
On Monday, Dalton received 6,000 cards in one day which took him to a little more than 37,000 cards and counting. More than enough to break the current record of 35,000.
"It's just amazing the outpouring of support everyone has shown. It really means a lot to him. It gives him something to look forward to every morning. He wants to know if the mail is here," says Jessica Dingus.
Dalton's Christmas cards earning him a place in the record books, but it's his courage and strength that is touching people the world over.
"He has inspired them to have a goal of their own. He's nine years old and he's sick, yet he still has a goal...and he's done it," says Jessica.
If you would like to help Dalton continue surpassing the record, you can mail a card to:

Beautiful Just The Way You Are

A while back, at the entrance of a gym, there was a picture of a very thin and beautiful woman. The caption was "This summer, do you want to be a mermaid or a whale?"

The story goes, a woman (of clothing size unknown) answered the following way:

"Dear people, whales are always surrounded by friends (dolphins, seals, curious humans), they are sexually active and raise their children with great tenderness

They entertain like crazy with dolphins and eat lots of prawns. They swim all day and travel to fantastic places like Patagonia, the Barents Sea or the coral reefs of Polynesia.
They sing incredibly well and sometimes even are on CD's. They are impressive and dearly loved animals, which everyone defend and admires.

Mermaids do not exist.

But if they existed, they would line up to see a psychologist because of a problem of split personality: woman or fish?
They would have no sex life and could not bear children.
Yes, they would be lovely, but lonely and sad.
And, who wants a girl that smells like fish by his side?

Without a doubt, I'd rather be a whale.

At a time when the media tells us that only thin is beautiful, I prefer to eat ice cream with my kids, to have dinner with my husband, to eat and drink and have fun with my friends.

We women, we gain weight because we accumulate so much wisdom and knowledge that there isn't enough space in our heads, and it spreads all over our bodies.
We are not fat, we are greatly cultivated.
Every time I see my curves in the mirror, I tell myself: "How amazing am I!
